Return and Refund Policy – HOUSE OF JORAS

At HOUSE OF JORAS , we take pride in offering high-quality Indian, Indo-Western, and ethnic wear. Every order is carefully checked before dispatch. To ensure fairness and transparency for all customers, the guidelines below apply to all returns, exchanges, and refund requests.

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
Returns or exchanges are accepted only for defective, damaged, or incorrect items when delivered. Since most products are made to order or fall under apparel that is prone to misuse, returns for reasons such as dislike of color, design preference, due to incorrect selection, or “change of mind” are not accepted.

Exchanges are subject to availability of the requested size or product variant.
If the preferred item is unavailable, store credit will be issued for the same value.

 

Mandatory Video Proof Requirement
To process any return, exchange, or refund request, customers must provide a complete parcel-opening video.
The video must clearly show
the unopened package from all sides
the visible shipping label with name and order ID
the entire process of opening the parcel without any pause, cut, or edit
the issue (damage, defect, wrong product, missing item) clearly visible

Requests submitted without this full, unedited proof are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

Conditions for Accepting a Return
The product should be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in the original condition.
All tags, packaging, and accessories must be intact. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. The item must match the issue shown in the video proof.

Non-Returnable Items
Accessories, sale items, discounted pieces, stitched or altered outfits, customized orders, and hygiene-sensitive items are not eligible for return or refund. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Exchanges are subject to availability of the requested size or product variant.
If the preferred item is unavailable, store credit will be issued for the same value.

Incorrect Delivery Information
HOUSE OF JORAS is not responsible for delays, non-delivery, or loss caused by incorrect shipping details provided by the customer.

Processing Time
Review of video proof and eligibility assessment may take a short evaluation period after submission.
Inspection of returned items may require additional time before store credit is released.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
